Anyone know of a reputable carb repair shop in the kansas city Area? I live outside of Topeka............

If it's not too far out of your way try Bob kunz in St Louis Mo. bobkunz@att.net, 314 843-7545 0r 314 845-2566. I just sent him my dual quads for my 60. He has a engine set up at his shop where he will test your carbs before sending them back. Good reputation and very helpful well after you've received your carbs back. -

I agree, Bob has rebuilt several carbs for me over the years and I couldn't be more pleased with the results.Jack Corso

Joe,
Bob rebuilt the duals for my 270 horse 283 and he has been very helpful. The carbs I sent him (which I thought were correct for my car) were for a '58. After Bob and I discussed, he restored & sold them and bought correct cores and rebuilt them for me. You couldn't ask for more professional help. The carbs started right up out of the box and the fast idle worked just as original
