Windshield molding clip screw source needed

I need to purchase the screws for the clips that hold the molding that goes at the top of the windshield. Zip and Paragon sell washer head screws which don't even fit into the clips. The original screws were .375" #8 countersunk sheet metal screws with a special, small head.

    Anybody know of a source?

Auveco ( http://www.auveco.com/product/index.html ) sells a GM wheel moulding screw that might work for your purpose. It's a # 8-18 x 7/16 lg. SS screw. The head diameter is 9/32 ( .281 ). Enter page 28 or product #9229 in the blue view PDF box.

Thanks but the heads on these screws are much smaller.

I will give them a call. All the suppliers seem to have the same wrong screw.
