Hi Friends
When are we talking about EP? I have 1959 , J59S102618, born Dec.-58,
is that early or what.

This is confusing to many newbies and has been addressed SEVERAL times before. But, the terms 'early' and 'late' when it comes to part/car configuration differences in a given model year, have to be taken one at a time.

They refer to running changes made during that model year with 'early' meaning the particular configuration prior to a specific engineering change and 'late' pointing to the configuration after the engineering change was released and the assembly plants' on-hand inventory of early parts was exhausted.

For a given change, early might mean cars built in the first two months of production, but for another specific change early might apply to the first 10 months of production. So, the terms are RELATIVE and have to be used on a part by part basis...

I agree with Jack. As for your production number 2618 is in the third month of regular production so many would consider your Corvette first quarter of the production year. I would consider your car an early production, but not very early production. Very early production is the first four to six weeks, early September to mid October.
