GM not longer stocks it. I have tried Ecklers and Mid America.

The cable, GM #14044432, is GM-discontinued without supercession.

You should be able to get one from Pacific Corvette (www.pacvette.com). I don't know if this is a used or new part, but most of their parts are used. I don't like going used for a part like this but "any port in a storm". I'm quite sure, though, that if they have one, it will be a serviceable piece.

Thanks Joe.

In some ways I like the internet and discussion boards.

Maybe I am old school but I used to spend hours on the phone to junk yards and wreckers looking for parts. Then you would drive for hours just to find out it was a different year or someone else already had taken the part.

But every so often you would find a real jewel. Something with low miles and had been well maintained, that had a **** load of parts you could use.
