    Courtesy lights nail down both ends of the under dash harness. Also they are up under the far corners of the dash and its not so easy for big hands to get in there. So best done with nothing else in the way.

    Doing the heater after the gauges and radio has two advantages. Gives more clearance to install the radio. Secondly having the firewall clear of obstacles makes it more comfortable and gives more room for laying on your back to work behind the dash.
