    Chris's pics seem to confirn Don's bumper bracket mtg reasoning for having the outside bolts down on 58 thru 62 ( pic # 3 )

      On the 60 I'm working on, the inside frame bolts, as well as the rear outside frame bolts, all go up from the bottom with the lockwasher and nut on the top. The bolts on the outside front go down with the nut on the bottom to clear the bumper bracket.

      I have the same greasy pictures Chris showed.....

        Grease is good!! A good vette is one that had lots of oil leakage from the engine.

        Keeps the rust down here in Michigan.

          Check out this shot of the the 60 I just started working on. More grease then I've ever seen on one car. Kept the bolts n good shape though!
