Jus wondering how rare a 62 vette, black with red interior with power top, power windows, auto,and base h.p 327? Thanks for any answers!

Welcome to the board. Your question is impossible to answer. You can only guess at best. The facts simply don't exist to answer it. I will tell you if the car was in my town, it would be quite rare. The only one !!

According to the Corvette Black Book 1532 cars had the automatic trans, 995 had power windows, and 350 had the power folding top. Not necessarily together.

Hi Adam,

Mine was the same exact configuration. Only 1957 - base 283. That configuration, at least in my case, was a senior lady in her 60s when she bought it new. Low HP, automatic, full power, lends itself to a more elderly person, not one to hot-rod it.

Just wondering, what your plans are for the car. It sounds like a very nice car. Post some pictures. -Dan-

Doing the numbers, pretty rare. But rare and desirable are two different things. I'd find a red/black fuelie with RPO 687 brakes much more desirable, myself.
