    1956 Trunk Mat-Source & Modification

    I am taking my 56 Aztec Copper car to the Joplin Regional and need a correct trunk mat. Who has the closest reproduction and is a modification necessary?
    Thanks and Happy New Year

    John, not sure if Al Knoch ever redid his trunk mats. Romeo has a nice one. Back a little too shinny, but it can be dulled down. Patience is required when ordering from Romeo. Happy New Year! Gary....

          Let me know if you find out they have beige mats.

            Guys;
            They advertise a Beige mat. I just ordered a Red one today and was told it will ship this week. I will keep you posted. Call them about your Beige one, they seemed very co-operative, knowledgable, and professional. The price seemed fair too.
            Good Luck.

              As an fyi, in mid Dec., I ordered a black mat for my '57 for $239 from Corvette Central taking advantage of their Christmas free shipping offer. As I had expected, the mat was shipped directly from Romeo. I'm not sure how often CC offers free shipping but as I recall, it saved saved me $40-$50.
