i first want to start by saying, i found no previous posts on this subject of this scale. i ordered several months past knowing i would need this publication, a 67 AIM & paid in good faith to NCRS for a complete copy (ALL NUMBERED PAGES). what i received is approximately 3/4's of a copy, that is to say pages 428,442,400,390-398,010-42 etc., etc. for a total of 105+ pages were not included but! page 237 & 238 were duplicated. i would gladly return it to help complete another copy of the AIM....if need be! the question is "did i get value for my money & if not, how should i be compensated"? i have since purchased a complete copy from a known reliable vendor. i am willing to sell the missing pages to NCRS for a nominal fee for shipping and handling to complete their publication which will help other members doing a complete restoration themselves as i have. the GREATER question is "am i the only member to have this problem or is this like a GM recall notification only for those who bitch"? only then we will do something about it! how can you not notice that much difference in a book thickness and weight disparity? a few pages can be an oversight BUT this is a blatant disregard to quality control. i don't need another AIM copy from NCRS to appease me but a "annual membership dues compensation for the next year. i believe this is reasonable........how say you??
are the AIM's being copied off-shore or So. of the border?

"Page numbering" by vendors in AIM's is meaningless, and misleading. These things were copied/re-copied by many vendors, many of whom applied their own "page numbers", and some were made from blends of others.
The only "page numbering" that means anything is the UPC number and sheet number at the center of the title block at the bottom of the page (photo below). It's easy enough to see if you have all the pages - each UPC group in the first half of the manual and each RPO group in the second half has a "contents" sheet (usually A1) at the beginning of that section that shows how many sheets are in each section and what's on each sheet. If the contents sheet shows that the section contains sheets A1 through A7, there should be seven sheets in that section, numbered A1 through A7 in the title block at the bottom.
I have several '67 AIM's from different vendors (including NCRS), and all are complete except for a couple of sheets in UPC 9 (and all are "numbered" differently).Attached Files- Top

Hi All,
John: Thanks- I couldn't have explained it better myself!
All: If you have a question about something purchased through the NCRS- PLEASE contact us directly via email/phone/fax/mail. The only reason that I even saw this post is because a member told me it was posted.
We do not monitor the Tech Board for questions that would normally go to the Cincinnati Office- there are not enough hours in a day.
Have a happy and healthy 2011!

Ditto Eric's comments. Over the years I have contacted the Cincy office twice and have gotten immediate and excellent response. They have gone out of their way to deliver orders quickly---once I ordered very late and received my order in time because Eric went out of his way and saved my bacon. Vinnie has done the same.

OK, knowledge to be learned.....Thank You John
i hope you don't view me as stupid............
i will list the missing pages your way,,,,,,

next i would like to address someone else's 2 cents worth, which does NOT apply to what my post is about. i have NO issue with receiving merchandise, just the completeness of a product.
and the comment about NCRS receiving inferior products from a "reliable" vendor is where in lies the problem........poor performance is the answer!
lastly, i will take advise given on this forum to contact Eric Mortimer & will post my results.
i thank one & all for their input none the less.Jim Lennartz - FWIW
