    Radiator change (57)

Is it a big operation to remove and change the radiator on a 57 ?
I look for a thread to describe the operation but could not find information.

    Thanks for your advises.

HELLO Jean-marc Several Weeks Ago, I Removed The Radiator From My '57 For Repair. I Will Try To Recall The Procedure I Used For This "task" 1) Remove The Hood --makes The Job So Much Easier. 2) Drain The Radiator And I Had To Remove The Petcock In Order To Pull Radiator Thru The Core Support Hole. 3) Remove Fan And Pulley. 4) Remove Upper Radiator Hose From The Radiator And Thermo Cover. 5) In Order To Remove The Bottom Hose, You Will Have To Disassemble The 4 Piece Fan Shroud. There Are 5 Small Machine Bolts And 2 More Holding The Bottom Shroud To The Frame. While You Are Down In This Area, Remove The 2 Bolts Holding Each Side Of The Stablizing Bar. You Will Need To Do This Later. 6) It Is Time To Remove The Lower Hose From The Radiator And The Water Pump. 7) Remove The Two Rubber Body Blocks Secured By 2 Phillips Head Screws. 8) Remove The 3 Bolts On Each Side Of The Radiator Holding The Fan Shroud, Hood Pop Ups, And Finally The Radiator Itself. 8) Gently Pull Up The Radiator From The Core By Pushing The Stabilizer Bar Toward The Engine. I Mean Gently To Not To Damage The Fins And Top And Bottom. Good Luck. Maybe Mike Can Add Some More Info.
