1967 427 BB with Powerglide Need help with bracket

I own a 1967 427/400HP, with powerglide. The 1967 build book shows this bracket part #11. I'm not sure if this is for a 4 speed or powerglide or both. I'm missing this bracket do I need it? if so any suggestions where I can get one. Thanks for reading

You don't need this bracket. This set-up is for a manual transmission application only. However, you may need other parts that you might not have. Everything you need is covered in the UPC M35 section of the 1967 AIM.

thanks Joe I'll check it out tomorrow, hopefully I have everything. I plan on taking the car to get painted this month and I'm trying to make sure I have all the parts needed prior to the body going back onto the frame. Is there anything thats is a must prior to the body going back on the frame. Thanks

Yes - the accelerator lever; its clamp bolt is almost impossible to get to after body drop, and make sure it's taped up out of the way during the drop or it will be damaged.

Also the tunnel heat insulator above the transmission.

Thanks John, I thought of the heat shield, didn't know about the acc. lever. I also noticed the seat belt brackets hanging I think they may be a problem if I don't have them tape up through the frame. If you come up with anything else please let me know. thanks and Happy New Year.
