1962 Finishes on Bolts and bumper area

Hello,

I have questions on the following 2 areas:

* 1" tubular Grille spacers- The AIM (page 34) states that they are "black finished". Are they Gloss black, flat black, something else?

* Rear Bumper- Inside the rear bumper brackets that are attached to the bumper (bracket that bolt passes through to attach the bumper to the car), is this all chrome or is the inside blacked out? Refer to the attached picture?

#1 appears to be plated with a little dirt/rust and bumper is chrome with a little rust. Never off the car.

My rear bumper mounting brackets are black the bolts are pretty rusted so I can't be sure they were painted, they definitely are not chrome. They do not appear to have ever been removed.

I just checked again. The bumpers are chrome. The bolts are not painted and pass thru the bumper, then fiberglass, then thru the bumper brace with a washer and nut.
