What's the cure for sagging sunvisors?

Does anyone have a idea on how to tighten the sunvisors so they don't sag? I suppose after almost 50 years it should be expected. Mine just won't stay pushed up. Since everything is original I'd like to keep it that way if possible. I've tightened every screw but still sags.

jam some vale lapping compound(NAPA) into the opening on each end of the sunvisor. i'll hold for a while but isn't a permanent fix. you could also wrap some electician tape around the hinge's pointed end before inserting then tighten the fastner . what color visors do you have. i've got some old originals in red and black that i'll give you.mike

I used locktight. I t heald for at least a season.
