    1965 Corvette Engine Block Casting Date

    My '65 327 /300Hp was built on August 27,1964 as an early production car. The engine bock casting date is H 74. Does that translate to (August 7, 1964)?

          Here's another early '65 car; VIN 00249, coupe body S55, engine F0810HF (assembled one day after your block was cast). Haven't run it through a birthday calculator, but they're unreliable on early cars, anyway.

              My coupe body is S 26, 26th St Louis body, Engine Code F0808HF, and 00110.....pretty close....
