In reading a 2010 September issue of CORVETTE FEVER article about a 1996 Grand Sport Corvette the following was written, "Also under the hood was a new throttle body with red "Grand Sport" lettering on it, which appeared on every Corvette that year, regardless of model. "

Any owners of 1996 Corvettes with automatic transmission that can comment on the above?

I thought all LT4 1996 Corvettes were the only 96's that left the factory with the Grand Sport identification on the throttle body.

The Grand Sport Throttle body went on all LT4's which was the only manual transmission engine offered in 1996. The Automatics were LT1's.
