Top Ignition Shield Front Clip Rivets Small Block

Advise on installing rivets. Is there a tool or how do you crimp them?

          William,

I remember I had a hard time trying to find just the right rivets. Just measure the head and you'll see that the usual vendor rivets don't measure up.

But I finally settled for one of the usual vendors rivets because of the correct finish. They are hollow rivets. And you can find the backing washers for the rivets at most big box hardware stores, look in the rivet section. Got mine at Orchard Supply here in CA.

If you follow that archived post, the modified hole punch with a 3" throat works pretty good.
