    1970 valve covers base motor

Could someone share a photo of original 300 hp valve covers, an engine that has AC on it...I think there are clips on the passenger side for wiring but I am not sure, also am interested in the washers and known headmark configuration. Any Bowtie cars out there that are willing to share? Thanks

Not able to post a picture, but can give you information. My original owner 1970 350/300 with factory air conditioning valve cover on the passenger side has one clip. The clip is left of the top left valve cover bolt.

      Hey Jim,

I am going to be asking you a lot of questions LOL...I own the same car that is all original with some misc issues....so does the clip look like one of those standard GM intake manifold clips that hold the vacuum advance pipe/hose on C2's or is it part of the valve cover or under the valve cover bolt?

Also would you mind PM me I would like to email you offline and ask you some questions,,,,,by the way the Triumph Bonneville is still doing great!

The clip is permantly attached to the valve cover. This clip holds the electrical wiring for the TCS solenoid.

My 70 300hp does not have AC, but it does have the TCS wiring clip where Jim mentions. Is this what Dino is looking for, and is this similar to what you have Jim?

In 1972 there is no difference in the rocker arm covers if the Corvette has C60 (air conditioning) or no C60. And that is true regardless of which engine was in the Corvette.

Pat what you have shown is what my 1970 came with from the factory.
