Cool video. I love the inboard rear brake idea. Wonder how it worked. Also love the Engineers getting their hands dirty and the cigarette butts sticking out of their mouths as they go about their job.
Not like industry today. No UAW or Harley t-shirted union workers for sure!- Top

I recall often hearing the rear suspension referred to as "DeDion"? This is the first time I've seen any details of it other than on models. What are the specific characteristics of the design?
Can also see the begining of the hood screens for the 63's. Too bad they were not functional on my 63, but then it would have made the car harder to clean I suppose, but certainly a lot more stable at 130 mph and above.
