1966 Fuel Pump

My 1966 coupe has a 327-300hp engine, with a build date of Dec 7 1965. What numbers are correct on my fuel pump? Thanks for any info......

The base engine in 1966 used a AC fuel pump part number 6440433. The part number changed on March 28, 1966 to 5594657. The last four digits of the part number should be stamped on the flange that bolts to the block.

When being judged . . . are either considered acceptable? I noticed the new TIM&JG mentioned the two types but no vin range for the change.

I have the 4657 on my May 6th car (I know it's not original to the car).

Besides 4657 the 300HP pump will also have the frog pads and a suffix after the 4657 number such as FF, etc. JD
