    68 Accelerator Cable

    I believe my 53K mile 68 has the original accelerator cable but I have seen mention of a red colored sleeve at the carb end. Can someone comment?

      The red/orange cable end was only used on 69's with tri-power. I don't even think it was the whole model year.

              My original owner FEB built 1968 L79 does not have a red covered sleeve.
