Thanks for all of the input. Looks like no good answers to the problem. I have the green Paragon clamps and will probably file them square, Indian style. I also have the Paragon red clamps, but the JG says tower clamps. I am not sure which direction I will pursue on the fuel return line. Anyway, thanks for the help everybody.

      Duane,
as for where to get the original parts, e-bay would be the easiest. Junkyarding is another option and try some old gas stations in your local area, the old time mechanics usually have a stash in thier toolbox. Other than that you would have to go with repros.

Old Indian quit judging when all the dorks started.. Leave that work to young braves that don't have a lot of battle scars yet. Old Indian got all the feathers in his head dress that he needs.

Unfortunately, for the buyer, the 50 buck clamps are the safety variety that will have to be filed down...depending on the application. Once they are filed down, they will take the requisite hit.

Same ones are only a few dollars at your local AutoZone or other parts store.

              Re: C3 Fuel Line Clamps

              Hi John,
The clamps from my 71 mid-January built car are SG 19.
The clamps I see that are close have smooth bands without the 'dot/hash mark' pattern on this strap.
I'd love to find some originals.
These clamps and the windshield damming strip continue to be pleasant mysteries for me.
              Regards,
              Alan
