Can someone post or at least tell me where to find the date stamp and or vin stamp on a sb 1965 powerglide transmission. Thanks in advance for your help.

Jim -

The production date stamp should be on the passenger side vertical wall of the transmission pan.

The main case and the tail housing have casting numbers on them, but the pan has the identification number and other numbers on it. My 67 with a car assembly completion date of Dec. 7, 1966 has the original powerglide pan and it is stamped with the number T7S14N T is Toledo, 7 is model year, S14 is Nov. 14 (Mon.)built date, N is night shift.
