    Original Watch!

    Hi Friends
I assume that my watch is the original from start
    On back it says:
    PATD USA
    2279015
    MADE BY WESTCLOX
    LASALLE. ILL USA

And the stamp in black: DEC58

I would have it restored because it "stand still"
That little screw on top on front, is that a setting screw if the clock goes to fast or slow?

My C1 was built in Dec.58

    Regards Jorn/Denmark

Yes, the small screw in the front is to adjust the speed if the clock gains or loses time. Sounds like the original.

I used to drive by that factory in LaSalle, IL. Didn't know they made corvette clocks.

        Hi William and John
Thanks for the reply, I also think it was the original so there is an idea to make it run again

        Regards Jorn

These clocks were date stamped. Sounds like you have the one original to your car. They can be repaired. Not too expensive. Search the archives for recommendations on to whom to send it for repair. You might also try to fix it yourself. Search the archives for suggestions on how to do this.

            Jorn,
On the original Corvette clocks the speed adjusting screw is moved to either "F" for fast or "S" to slow the clock down.
On the Corvette clocks the "F" is on the left, on passenger car clocks the "F" is on the right.
Make sure your "F" is on the left of the adjusting screw.
