Rebuilding of Control Cables
Guys, I am still working on my '56 and am looking for someone to rebuild control cables such as the ones that are used to turn on the wipers, heater, defroster and fresh air. I did not find much of anything in prior posts that I looked under or in the advertisers. Can anyone tell me who does this? Thanks in advance! Brooks Glover (2141)

jay and tom maxwell rebuild the boden cables. they ad in the driveline and live in the mid-atlantic region.mike -

Mike, thanks for your reply to my post. I will try to contact them tomorrow. I also received a reply from Mary Jo Rhoner on the west coast. She also rebuilds them but her guy who does this is going to be out of the country till some time late in January. It is definitely good to know who does this sort of thing as some of these parts are made of "unobtanium" and you might have to sell your soul to pay for them. BTW, I really enjoyed the picture and article about your '57 in the "Restorer". I wish you would do a more in depth article about the restoration of that vehicle.
