    fuel filtering

I sometimes use gasoline out of 5 gal. plastic pour cans and have noticed small specs of trash in fuel samples from these cans-don't know if from can or fuel source. What an I filter it with as I pour into my '67s' tanks-big coffee filters or a real chamois? (I know, I know, I should first make sure interior of cans are clean, but my question is about filtering.)
    Thanks

Try using a strainer. Many funnels have a strainer in them. The strainer almost looks like the size of window screeen mesh.

William, I would pitch the can and buy a new one. I use a large funnel that I have cut some of the end off. Then I use paint filters in the funnel. Good luck, JD
