    Previous threads were back in early 2006. (links below). The eBay pics are no longer active, but I include a few I copied below. The front birdcage with VIN and Trim tags attached, and including the original Florida title and the MSO, morphed into a fully complete car three years later.

      Thanks Wayne, I have pictures of it somewhere but couldn't find them. There is also that ZR2? in similar shape in Hawaii and I have been patiently waiting for it to appear.

        Robert,
        I said my 67 was a L88 in a post Dec 10th. It is not, I thought all 435 HP were L88's till I saw the word ALUMINUM HEADS. Mine has iron heads.

          Only 25, where are the rest of the 309?

            The 435 HP aluminum head option was the L89. However, only 16 1967 L89s were ever produced. The L88 was rated at 430 HP. The L71 was the 435HP with iron heads.
