I looked at other threads on this subject and could still use advice on routing heater hoses for a small block '72 with A/C.
The Technical Information Manual & Judging Guide shows routing for 350 with A/C that has water shut off valve (which was not used in '72) and in that drawing it looks as if hoses actually route behind the expansion valve and suction throttling valve or in that vacant area behind the RH louvre.
The drawing included in '72 AIM at sheet D4 of the C-60 section makes it look like the heater hoses route on the inboard side of the frame rail in front of the expansion valve and suction throttling valve.
Reproduction hoses seem long enough to go either way, but I want to get it right for judging. Can it go either way or does it make a difference in judging. Your expert advice; pictures; drawings are greatly appreciated. Thanks, Cosmo
