Recomendations for wiper motor overhaul

Can anyone give me a recommendation for getting at 69 wiper/washer moter overhauled? Should I just send it to one of the big Corvette Suppliers?

I just received my 1963 wiper motor back from Steve Hack in Ohio. It only took about 5 days, pricing was very reasonable, workmanship was flawless. He is a NCRS member and I would recommend him. Doug

Mark,
The metal bracket over the solenoid right in front of the camera should be gold (and maybe it is and the flash washed it out). It should also have an ink stamped date on it.

I agree, it was gold and we discussed restoring it. I decided to leave it as is because it still had remnants of the original ink stamp on it. They may not show in this PIC but, the ink stamp is very faintly still there.

The plastic ports were not yellowed with age when they were new but I decided to leave them unrestored, as well.

I do, however, appreciate you assuming I didn't know that. I'm sure you're just looking out for me.

Of course I am looking out for you. And I do on occasion assUme as well. You are nto the only one who reads these threads -- and they exist here for years and years -- or until you take the picture down.

I'll try to grab a better pic of the area we're talking about, but first, my wife says I need to finish cleaning the bathrooms.
