Here's a photo from the Corvette Central website showing the difference in the HP and standard shaft top plate ....

Here's another couple -- on the left is from a 1111263 ball bearing dist.; the other from a 1111267 (Camaro race). The number stampings are sometimes seen on the underside.

GM must have used that #54 autocam for many applications because it's the same one as my 63 300hp distributor.
