Last week I saw a blue 1968 convertible L88 in Tampa Fl. area. It belongs to the brother of a friend. It appears to be the real thing. It is a Feb. car white/ white ser. # 410850. Car was origionally sold in Lansing Mich. and had been raced in that area. Car shows signs of roll cage. Does anyone have knowledge of this car in the late 60's or early 70's around Battle Creek or Lansing area. Thanks, Pat.

Re: 1968 white convertible L 88
Hi Mike, good to hear family all doing well. All is good here in Florida. The 69 is not complete yet, still working on it. I talked to Ed Augustine about painting the 69, he is contacting his friends. My friend's L88 has tank sticker and the car is the real thing. Dave talked to Kevin Mckay a few years ago. Kevin wanted to but it. Another friend gave me a dual point distributor # 1110891, non-tack drive. Had you in mind when he gave it to me. Just may see you and Lea at Kissamee in January, Later Loon.- Top
