What is the best way to tie down a C5 in a enclosed trailer? Does a C5 have holes or slots through their frame to insert small to medium shakles?
I have never liked to tie down a car for transport by just strapping over suspension parts due to the possilbility of cut straps and bending or damaging suspension parts etc.
I tow my '73..I have two medium size shackles in frame holes in the front and two ssmall shackles in frame holes near the back. I hook the racket type straps to these shackles and have never had any problem during transport.
Since I have never owned a Corvette newer than a 1979, I don't know what the newer car frames look like?
Thanks in advance.
