Can you elaborate on the early lock pillars vs. the late pillars....what indentation are you referring to??

This thread brings back memories -- following pics are of my triple black '63 fuelie #07055, back in late fall of 1978. I stripped its unhit body completely to bare glass. The first shot should show the door lock pillar; the 2nd, the FI emblems.

Wayne....Cool pics!!! Wish I didn't have to take mine so far apart, but necessitity calls. The No. 1 body mounts are supposed to have 5 rivets each. I had 2 on each side, for the other 3 had rusted off.

Then we had to raise the front part of the roof , for a rust bubble had actually put a wave in the leading edge of the roof fiberglass. Everything was fixed without having to replace the upper windshield section of the cage where the roof attaches. The drip rails were the worst, for they were about 75% bondo.

Much ahead, but I want it fixed right, so this saga will continue for some time to come.

My 63 Coupe birthday date is around March 3rd. All of the fiberglass was/is off white. I have pics of it around here somewhere when it was stripped. JD

Mine is an April 19th build and has off-white glass. No deep footwells.
