    Choke Covers 327/427 or C2/C3???

There are two choke covers being sold as correct for C2 327 and 427.

See attached pictures, one is rounded and one is very squared off.

Are they used interchangeably or is one or the other 427 specific?

What is the correct asy & cover for 1966, 327 and then 427?

The 'rounded' one applies to '70-74 BB and '71-74 SB. There are two versions of the 'squared' one; with and without 3x2 carbs (difference is where the choke rod opening is located).

Expect minor deduction for current reproduction covers because they're 'too good'. They lack the aged tool stress marks at/near the rounded corners formed by the factory original stamping tools...

The "rounded" cover is used for applications with the choke stove and thermostatic coil as an integral unit. The "rectangular" cover is used for applications in which the choke stove is integral with the manifold and the thermostatic coil is a separate piece.

There were NO Corvette applications which used an integral choke stove and thermostatic coil prior to 1970.
