Where is the best place to get a window sticker reproduction for my 79 L82. I have all of the necessary information but there are a couple of places online and I want to go the right place.

Re: Window Sticker Reproduction
Triple-A did a nice job on my 71 RS Z-28, but being the origional owner I know everything about the car. I would love to get one for my 63 Coupe, but I don't know if it origionally came with white walls or black walls. I can't see spending the money only to find out maybe down the road my guess was wrong.- Top

Re: Window Sticker Reproduction
I bouight the car in 1974, and it had period aftermarket slotted mags & custom tires. Even the spare was gone, but those were different times.
I suppose I could go with the percentages and put whitewalls on it, but the " X " factor of am I really right will haunt me, especially if I see it on the window sticker.- Top

Re: Window Sticker Reproduction
Chose the configuration you prefer for the car. Just be sure you do your research and don't pick a combination that never existed.
It's not like anyone else will ever have the information to call your hand. Well...possibly the original owner, but then if you knew who that was, you would likely already know the original configuration.Last edited by Chuck S.; November 29, 2010, 07:41 AM.- Top

Re: Window Sticker Reproduction
I recently replaced my reproduction window stickers due to the new information provided by the NCRS "Shipping Data Report". The area of my original sticker covering the dealer zone and code was obliterated, so when I had the first repros made some 7 or 8 years ago, I searched a number of sources and came up with what I thought to be the right numbers. I had the zone nailed down, but somehow transposed the last two digits of the dealer code. The dealer was long gone of course. I went back to Triple A for a few more corrected copies that I use both on the car window at shows and in my show and tell book. They look real good and are the subject of much conversation. They are priceless, and I still have my original safely stowed for posterity.
