    Chuck -

My old notes indicate that the "original" semi-flat Blitz Black was #PT-107. In 2003 it was apparently reformulated and became two different products:

    #TY25311 - Semi-Flat Black, same as the original #PT-107

    #TY25313 - High Gloss Black

In trying to confirm my memory wasn't totally gone, I did a search to find the original thread with Dale's comments, but there were at least two pages of threads on JDBB goijng back to 2000. I saw some of Dale's posts, so I'm sure it's in there somewhere...I'm not curious enough to read them all to find it. The search engine is not very good at homing in by filtering...it only looks for one word.

The next best info I found was a poster on CF reporting three gloss levels in the old system: High gloss, medium gloss (PT-107), and muffler black. However, it was clear from the CF thread that JDBB had been reformulated; one poster was complaining the gloss level had changed 15 deg.

John Deere's parts site indicates your part numbers have also now been superceded. John Deere's paints have likely been reformulated yet again so that everything is now low VOC. For example, TY25311 has been superceded by TY25631. Before, they had to have low VOC for California, but TY25631 is now low VOC for all states. JDBB is likely a whole new ball game.
