I didn't see it either for the same reason. Hey, what happened to Ted Mack and the Original Amateur Hour? I can't seem to find the show in my printed copy of TV Guide.

There is no way in hell that they would stand on the seats of my Corvettes. I had two foto shoots with my car at my house for calenders & the one thing I said was that no one sets on the hood or stands on the seats. They took about 30 rolls of film plus a lot of Polaroids. Yes it was in the day. LOL Nice Corvette oh & the girl is not hard on the eyes either.

Didn't look too bad to me. After all, we used to do that all the time back in the day on Route 66. Seriously, anyone who has gladly used their car to parade young looking girls around didn't mind. They were made to take a little abuse I would think.

My only regretable experience was doing a Chevrolet commercial at the Chicago lake front. They had us park as if in a car show, convertibles with tops down, then we had a pretty good shower pass by. They would not let us go out and put our tops up and, instead, wanted the cars left wet for another shoot! Then to rub salt into the wounds, they rushed out to wipe the cars down themselves with dirty towels. That's when I drew the line, took my $200. and left.

That is a red 57, dual quad, 3-speed owned by a long time NCRS and So CAL SACC club member who lives here in Los Angeles. I think he bought that car in the early 60s, and raced it some into the 70s, and has restored it a couple of times. He does not have it judged, drives it frequently, and is not overly concerned about things like scratches. He does not do much on computer, so I doubt he watches this board, or has seen this thread. I think he said DWTS paid him $500 per day for a couple days use of the car as a dancing prop.
