    Paragon Mirror Loose

I just purchased a side view mirror from Paragon for my '68. I paid extra for the dated glass. I just received the mirror but the mirror glass is loose. If I shake the mirror I can see and hear the mirror moving/rattling?

I don't think this is right/normal but wanted to see other people's experiences before calling Paragon. I am sure they'll make it right if needed. Thanks for any replies.

They're good people. You shouldn't have a problem with returning a defective product plus I'm sure you're not going to ask for your money back. Just have them fix it and send it back.

Jack, so based on your response, this is not normal. I didn't think so but heck, it wouldn't be the first time some one said, "they were all loose from the factory". I'll give them a call.

The mirror glass is supposed to be cemented into the metal body with several large globs of elastomeric adhesive. There should not be any movement of the mirror glass.

I called them and I will return the mirror for them to fix. No problem at all, they even offered to cover the shipping expense back to their facility. Good customer service.
