    Bow Tie

    I have a low milage 59 that has gotten some small holes in the exhaust pipe. Should I fix it or live with it?? It is a 4 star car

    ...I've replaced both front and rear bumper covers, a new battery and four new tires since my '74 got 4 Star Bowtie in Bowling Green, KY in 2000(5th Star in Hershey,PA in '03).

    ...just because I've maintained and repaired my car doesn't mean it isn't a Bowtie car anymore. As meticulous as you want to be in caring for your car, they are still "aging" and do need to be maintained unless you plan on making it a museum piece and never, ever using it again.

    ...just because you are repairing or maintaining your car doesn't mean you are "restoring" it. Just my $.02.
