Hi Rick,

There was a change in the date coding from 1957 to 1958 (see Alan Colvin's "Corvette by the Numbers", p. 548-549). I think a January 1958 date-coded glass should be "NN", but if you wanted glass dated December 1957 for a January 1958 car, I'm not sure which date coding system would be applicable, the previous 1957 system or the "new" 1958 system.

Somebody here will know, if not I'll get my book out and see if that information is in there when I get back this evening.
