Are you saying the car has a Bloomington Gold "Survivor" award, or that it just seems mostly original? What does it have for shocks and springs that needs replacement?- Top

John,
No - car has never been judged - I bought car from Pro Team Vette back in'95. I would like to know if it would be better to just leave undercarriage as is before my initial judging in spring 11. Engine, trans and glove box numbers all match
Thanks so much for replying- Top

Re: 1967 vette 327-300hp survivor car
Always have a car evaluated/judged before 'restoring' any detail of it. Cleaning is one thing, bead blasting is another. You mention replacing springs, shocks etc-, that works against the unrestored present status of the car.
It can only be original once............- Top

Anthony - There's no problem getting advice and I think you have received some good advice. If it's a survivor and original (it's only original once), it not only needs to be original but things need to be or appear to be 40 plus years old. If your goal is "survivor," routine maintenance is one thing but take care that you don't start doing "major" restoration. Pete- Top
