69 muffler black out paint?

What paint options do I have for my mufflers. I have some Kryon 1613 semi-flat black acrylic lacquer and some rust oleum flat black enamel. I believe I paint the bottom 1/2 kind of lightly to similate a quick factory spray. I also do the bottom 1/2 of the front and rear plates. Any on the exhaust pipes?

Do a search - there are several REALLY GOOD threads covering the blackout operation, material used etc...

OK, it looks like semi-flat or BBQ black painting the bottom 50 % including bottom, sides and end plates. In addition, also paint the bottom of the extension pieces entering and exiting the muffler. If I missed anything, please let me know...Thanks...Don
