I thought all 1972 LT1 w/ac came only with a wide ratio tranny. Mecum's ad lists the car with a close ratio tranny.

Was the '72 LT1 w/ac optioned with either a wide or a close ratio tranny?

What is correct?

...with a blank engine pad & a missing trim tag, the tranny that it had in it didn't make much difference.

...there was more than a few errors on the info about the cars.

...of all the LT-1s that he had, not a single one had the smog stuff on it. IMHO the '70-'73 cars were his absolute worst cars(at least of the shark cars). Driver material at best with BJ pricing.

Jerome, I would have to agree with you, I thought that LT-1 cars with A/C had to have the M20 wide ratio installed

I think Paul was referring to the cars at the sale, not early '70 cars in general. You're right, they're pretty neat cars!!!
