    67 on ebay question

there is a nice looking silver with red interior L79 on there now

I am not looking to buy just a few questions. I know red was not a suggested interior color for silver. so is this a real trim tag? I am just tiring to learn

Maybe a little bit more detail should have been paid to the ign. key, it's wrong. Bill

FWIW. I have a 67 Black w/teal interior car documented with tank sticker. Teal was not a color combo for black, but they built it! I am sure that given whatever circumstances any car could be built.

Keith, you could order silver and red. A friend ordered silver with red interior Corvettes in '60, '64, '65, and '69. It is a nice combination.

Silver/ Red which looks awesome in my opinion does not show as a preferred color combo in the NCRS pocket spec guide.

FWIW:The CA ECL shows a coupe built with headrest seats and not built with power windows, powerglide, shoulder harness and big tank...

If the interior parts were already released and in the plant for use with another trim combination, you could order a non-recommended combination; the dealer just had to specify a trim override on the order form, and the Zone had to approve it. Didn't require a COPO or Engineering approval.

That is I thought was the case. the term"COPO" is way overused today trying to sale a car.
