There's a metal clip on the dash harness side of the curved connector, that pushes onto the horizontal flange on the bottom left edge of the pedal support; photo below shows what it looks like in place, although you can't see the clip. See your Assembly Manual, UPC 12, sheet B3, where it shows "Harness conn. (clip to bracket)".
For anyone who knows, does the metal clip come already attached with a replacement Turn Signal Switch, or is it a separate piece? Mine is missing, I checked the vendor websites and they show the clip for 1963-66 that attaches to the column, but not the '67 clip.

From memory, I don't think that the clip is reproduced. I have tried finding one, to no avail. Luckily I own another 67 coupe that did in fact have the clip so I borrowed it from the one car and put it on the other car. Though, I still want another original clip - one for each car. If you have any luck finding one, let me know as I would like one too.

        Ara,

From pictures in the archives, it looks like the curved black plastic piece is molded to receive one end of the clip. I have three of these turn signal switches. One is still in the steering column, and has the red "BPM" tag. I have two used examples in old Saginaw cans with the red-orange metal lids, one can dated 1978, both labeled GM 5698520. One switch is pink/red and has the red "BPM" tag, the other is pale/translucent blue and has the white "BPM" tag.

None of the three curved black plastic sections that attach to the pedal support by the (missing) metal clip have a molded area to receive the clip. Do only production-line examples have this molded area to attach the clip? The pictures on the vendors websites all have the side where the clip should be facing away from the camera.

The clip you are looking for is on the main harness connector, not the connector on the turnsignal switch wiring harness.
