'63 Choke Housing part number

Does anyone know the correct part number for the choke housing for a Carter WCFB 3500S which is on 1963 327/250HP powerglide? I looked in the NCRS Technical Info Manual and Judging Guide but, couldn't find the answer. Thanks.

The GM part number for the housing was GM #3759936. However, there's no way that number would appear on the part which I think is what you're looking for. The Carter part number was 170-585S. That number or some derivative thereof may be what appears on the housing.

Thanks for the input Joe. Am in need of a replacement for mine so, when I call around looking for one, I want to be able to refer to the right number. I saw a photo of a used one for sale at Long Island Corvette. I couldn't exactly make out the numbering on it but, it looked like 170-583 or something like that so, the number you suggested sounds right. The one at LI Corvette is black in color but, the one on mine is a light metal color. Thanks again.
