My database shows 1229, 1230, 1320, 1552 (last 6 cyl). Any disagreement with what you received?

My sources for the 1552 was in the following magazines, I'll have to dig them up and double check. I suspect it was in the cars for sale section.
1552 (last 6 cyl): Vette Vues 11/94,12/94,1/95. Some of the articles I've read said there were 7 of them.

557 and 233 haven't shown up in anything I've looked at in the past 20 years and 433 is in Driveline 103, though I didn't note whether it was a 6 cylinder.

229 recently was on ebay. 233 can be found on conceptcarz.com. 320 is documented in nolan's restoration guide. 433 can be found going to barrett jackson, scottsdale 2003

If 552 is legit, that would make seven and counting.

552 is one to keep in mind. To further muddy the waters, neither 552 nor 557 show up in the nmvtis database, but both ve55s001233 and e55s001233 show up, meaning there could be both a 6 and 8 cylinder #233 out there.

So 557 is ok, 552 is questionable, 233 is really questionable. thanks for the info.

I think #233 is ok.

233 may be ok, but there is a 6 cylinder and an 8 cylinder #233 registered in the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System. I don't know how accurate their data is.

Correct. My belief is that the 6 cylinder is real.

Guys - I'll include this document for consideration...have you seen this Monthly Production Chart for 1955 Corvettes? If accurate, it calls into question one of the cars 229, 230, or 233. 320 is referenced and 433, 552, and 557 all make sense. Tim
