I am looking for weather stripping for the aftermarket hardtop for a 54 vette. Any source for this, Thanks Ed

i doubt you'll find a weatherstrip set specifically molded for your aftermarket 53-55 hardtop. try the local Lowe's/Home Depot type store, check out the weatherstripping they sell for homes, pick the set closest to what you need, then head to the garage and fabricate what's needed.good luck. mike

Ed,www.corvette-rubber.com may have bulk in usable configuration. J.C. Whitney used to as did some other auto weatherstrip companies (hemmiings.com). If not I would go with Mike's suggestion.

I went to the local junk yard and grabbed several sets of "trunk opening" w-strip. I found one that I liked and it worked well. You need a w-strip that has a slot in it for the bottom edge of the top to fit into. The trunk application w-strip works very well.
