1967 Soft Top Rear Window & Radio ?'s

I don't have a 67 JG......my JG library only goes to 63-64. My searches here were fruitless.....

What was the manufacturer stamping for the rear window in a soft top? The pic below is what is on the car. Obviously wrong date, but is it the correct maker?

What differentiates a 65,66,67 radio? Is it just the knobs, or additional things seen from the front? Pics would be great.

    Thanks,
    Rich
    p.s. yes a L71

Rich...A "VINYLITE" trade mark with American Standard Specification rating of 6 (AS-6), a manufacture date, and washing instructions is hot stamped in the lower left hand corner on all original rear windows. Per JG.

I think only the knobs were different...Bill

The visible difference on the 65 radio is that red and green gel has been installed on the inside of the dial lens behind the AM and FM decals in their respective windows. (Check a vendor site for pictures.) This is visible when the dial lamp is lit. Also, the build date, visible from the rear, will be a tell-tale.

The 66 and 67 are still model 986281's, just like the 65, but with green gel (actually plastic lenses - gel is used in the 63/64's) behind both the AM and FM decals.
