    69 Instrument cluster

I removed the center instrument panel to replace the faulty oil gauge. There is a 'resistor'? in the rear lower center of the gauge panel that has one wire w/spade attachment that combines with what gauge and what leg?
Is it the lower leg of the ammeter?

    Thanks!

Methinks you've found a CAPACITOR and not a 'resistor'...

this is an old post that was unanswered. i've got the same question. i think the capacitor lead connects to the black wire at the amp gauge, but i not sure, could someone confirm this. i can not find this capacitor in the U69 AIM. thanks
