I have uniset type points in my 74' distributor which work fine. I recently installed the felt lubricator. I have an almost new tube of Blue Streak "Lubricam" that I have probably had since the early 1970's.
My question is (since I have not used the Lubricam in more than 30 years) do you apply the Lubricam to the end of the felt lubricator (seems logical) and about how much do you apply? The Lubricam tube has no information regarding use. Also is it best to also lubricate the cam itself or to just concentrate the lubricant on the felt lubricator?
I do not want to overdo the lubricant - the last time I installed points, the point set came with a small amount of lubricant that I put on the cam. directly.
